Frank Herrera Jr. is a lifelong Delano resident dedicated to the advancement of his community and itschildren. Serving on the Delano Elementary School Board since 2004, he continues to strive forexcellence in education. Mr. Herrera's public service career spans almost 40 years serving on variousboards and commissions including the Delano City Council, the Delano Planning Commission and the Delano Police Commission. He also served on the Kern County Civil Service Commission in addition to various civic organizations. Mr. Herrera continues to promote the accomplishments of the elementary school district in his participation with the National Association of Latino Elected Officials and as a board member of the California Latino School Boards Association. Above all he loves spending time with his children and grand children.
