• 2025 Red Ribbon Week – COACH

    Hi Albany Park Parents!

    Next week is Red Ribbon Week! We are excited to celebrate as this special week helps students learn about making healthy choices and saying NO to drugs while having fun and showing school spirit.
    Here are the dress days!

    Monday – “Dream Big, Be Drug Free”
    🧩 Wear your pajamas to start the week off dreaming of a healthy, drug-free future.
    Tuesday – “Team Up to Solve the Puzzle”
    🧩 Wear your favorite team jersey to show we’re stronger when we work together.
    Wednesday – “Bright Futures Fit Together”
    🧩 Wear an outfit that shows what you want to be when you grow up–because your future is too bright for drugs!
    Thursday – “Give Drugs the Boot”
    🧩 Wear western wear and boots!
    Friday – “Say Boo to Drugs!”
    🧩 Wear your Halloween costume to end the week with a spooktacular celebration of being drug free.

    ¡Hola padres de Albany Park!

    ¡La próxima semana es la Semana del Listón Rojo! Estamos emocionados de celebrar que esta semana especial ayuda a los estudiantes a aprender a tomar decisiones saludables y a decir NO a las drogas mientras se divierten y muestran espíritu escolar.
    ¡Aquí están los días de vestir!

    Lunes – “Sueña en grande, libérate de las drogas”
    🧩 Ponte el pijama para empezar la semana soñando con un futuro saludable y libre de drogas.
    Martes – “Forma equipo para resolver el rompecabezas”
    🧩 Ponte la camiseta de tu equipo favorito para demostrar que somos más fuertes cuando trabajamos juntos.
    Miércoles – “Futuros brillantes encajan juntos”
    🧩 Usa un atuendo que muestre lo que quieres ser cuando seas grande, ¡porque tu futuro es demasiado brillante para las drogas!
    Jueves – “Darle la bota a las drogas”
    🧩 ¡Usa ropa y botas occidentales!
    Viernes – “¡Di abucheo a las drogas!”
    🧩 Ponte tu disfraz de Halloween para terminar la semana con una celebración espeluznante de estar libre de drogas.

We understand that recent reports of immigration enforcement activities in Delano and nearby areas may have raised concerns for some of our families. Please know that our schools are safe spaces where every student and family is welcomed and protected. California schools are not allowed to request or collect information about Social Security numbers, immigration status or U.S. citizenship when enrolling students. Student records shall not be disclosed without parental consent or a court order. If your family has been affected or needs additional support, our school psychologists, counselors and social workers are here to provide guidance and care.

    P.O.W.E.R.+

    After School Expanded Learning Program

    Students in grades 2 through 5 are provided with an opportunity to join our after-school program from 2:07 p.m. until 6:00 pm daily, every day school is in session. The program provides opportunities for intervention in language arts/math, recreational activities, nutrition, as well as enrichment activities. Space is limited to 20 students per grade level, so get signed up today!
